I don't anticipate reaching the notoriety of these authors but here are a few of my personal recommendations (I'll add more as time goes by).
The Holy Bible. I most frequently use the New International Version (NIV) and the New Living Translation (NLT), but for teaching and study purposes have pulled up others. Bible Gateway you can read dozens and decide which you wish to purchase in hard copy and mark up. https://www.biblegateway.com/
